The Federation holds the collective representation of the Guilds and Professional Associations and of entrepreneurs that are part of it.
The purpose of the FIHRT, established statutorily, results in the coordination of the action of each of the associations that are part of it, displaying its representation in the management and defense of its common interests.
The fundamental aims of the FIHRT are, among others:
- the coordination of the action of each and every one of the associations that are part of it, showing its representation in the management and defense of its common interests;
- To encourage and develop as many activities as necessary to fulfill its aims and tend to benefit the Guilds and Associations of businesspeople and professionals, and by extension, the members of each of these legal entities with their own legal personality;
- inform the Guilds and Associations of businesspeople and associated professionals and represent them in how many procedures they relate to the actions they carry out;
Establish and maintain contact and relations with Public Organisms that have competence or are related to Hospitality, Restoration or similar activities by advising them and collaborating with them in all actions that may be beneficial for the Guilds and Associations of businessmen and professionals associated to the FIHRT;
- Defend the collective and legitimate professional interests and rights of its associates and the professionals and entrepreneurs that they represent, as well as defend the Guilds and Associations of businessmen and professionals associated with any type of intrusion or unfair competition, Other Associations or Guilds, professionals, etc .;
- intervene with the different Public Administrations and Organizations, both Public and Private, in defense of the interests of the Guilds and Associations of businessmen and professionals associated to the FIHRT, in particular, and of the Federation itself as a collective;
To foster the spirit of union between its partners, to contribute to the best defense of their interests, as well as to promote both a better professional training of the members of the different Unions and Associations of businessmen and professionals associated to the FIHRT, as well as their workers, thus improving the quality of the service offered;
- And exercising the trade union activity, characterized by the existence of another party linked to the holder of the right for a service relationship and in relation to which it is exercised, its expression being a series of rights such as negotiation col. school work, adoption of measures of collective and individual conflicts of work, social dialogue and institutional participation in public bodies of Public Administrations Labor
